Essay

Thesis is devoted to ascertaining the laws of influence of point structure defects and composition inhomogeneities of growth nature on the electrical and photoelectric properties of CdZnTe crystals grown by Bridgman method. Macro- and micro-inhomogeneities of Cd1-хZnхTe crystals composition arising during their growth from the melt were studied. It was ascertained that microinhomogeneities of Zn content in the growth direction are characterized by the presence of several spatial harmonics. Composition macroinhomogeneities also contain a harmonic component, which most appear in the radial direction. These inhomogeneities affect the dielectric properties of crystals differently.
