Budnik Z. Evaluation of the ecological state basin and quality water of the rivers (case of river Ikva)

The inaugural dissertation is devoted to the evaluation of the ecological state of basin and water quality of Ikva river. The influence of natural and anthropogenic factors on surface water quality was studied in the work. The description of the natural conditions on the ecological state of the river basin is given. The estimation of the agro-ecological condition of the soil cover by the indicators of ecological stability, as well as the level of fertility and sanitary-hygienic assessment of the soil were carried out. It is determined that the worst are the indicators of environmental sustainability and fertility. The relationship between water quality indices and agro-ecological condition of the soils of the Ikva river has been investigated. Ikva water quality forecast was performed until 2030. Management principles have been improved and measures have been developed to optimize the Ikva River basin, which envisages the creation of the Basin Council, due to the need to integrate Ukraine's water policy
