Dissertation for a Candidate Degree in Geological Sciences, specialty 04.00.17 «Geology of Oil and Gas». – Institute of Geological Sciences of NAS of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2019. The dissertation is devoted to the definition and research of geological factors of gas bearing of Transcarpathian foredeep. The creation and formation of significant hydrocarbon deposits of the west oil and gas bearing regions are confined to the zones of intersection of deep faults. Deep faults cross all without exception the gas fields of the Transcarpathian foredeep. Intrusive bodies are recorded in the geological sections of the Rusko-Komarivske and Martivske fields. Natural gases of the intrusive thickness of the Rusko-Komarivske field, in some places, contain more than 10% CO2 and more than 85% N2. Based on thermal log charts, temperature distribution maps at different gypsum levels were constructed. The coincidence in terms of gas fields and positive temperature anomalies at all investigated gypsometric levels is revealed. The quantitative content of TOC 57 core samples was determined, and it was determined that the samples of individual thicknesses of Mesozoic and Miocene characterize the "good" and "excellent" indices of oil and gas generation potential from the position of TOC content. Positive criteria for the prediction of oil and gas content of local objects are established. Further directions of exploration and positive criteria for prediction of oil and gas bearing within local local are determined. Keywords: Transcarpathian deflection, geological factors, gas, gas, faults, migration, gas field, temperature regime, well, Sorghum.
