This thesis is focused on dealing with one of the topical issues in theoretical and applied fire safety, namely improving the effectiveness of forest fires suppression by means of applying binary fire extinguishing systems with separate discharge of the components of the gel-forming compositions (GFC). The approaches to suppressing ground forest fires which are used at present are not very effective in fighting ground forest fires even if large forces are involved and various means of suppression are applied.
