Essay

The conducted scientific search of the existing views of researchers regarding the definition of the essence of the concept of "investment potential" indicates categorical-conceptual discussion, in particular regarding its constituent elements, which are presented as a complex of different resources, a set of production opportunities, organization of subsystems and qualitative criterion, which is identified by enterprises as a commodity. It is proposed to form and use the investment potential of the region through the prism of its management functions, and taking into account the existing structure of the region's economy in terms of types of economic and production activities.
