Essay

Object of research: seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR); aim - to determine the clinical and immunological efficacy of allergen-specific immunotherapy with pollen allergens in patients with SAR with the additional use of lyophilized leukocyte dialysate (DLL); research methods: clinical, immunological and statistical; novelty: leading allergens have been identified, to which sensitization was detected in the vast majority of patients with SAR (allergens of ragweed pollen, sunflower, wormwood and cyclamen); 73.1% of patients showed positive skin reactions during the pre-test for pollen of 3-6 plants, including 26.9% - up to 5 pollen allergens (PAL); ); it was found that the largest number of people with a very high degree of sensitization was found among patients with sensitization to sunflower pollen and ragweed; found that ASIT with pollen allergens with concomitant use of DLL significantly reduces the number of patients with rhinitis and conjunctivitis, and more by than 2.2 times decreased the intensity of their severity; there is a normalization of the levels of CD4 +, CD8 +, total IgE, total IgG, promoting the switching of the immune response from Th2- to Th1-cells after the first course of ASIT; determined that the introduction of DLL in the treatment of patients with SAR has a positive effect on the synthesis of major cytokines of allergic inflammation (IL-4, IFN-γ): there is an activation of Th1-response, as evidenced by a significant increase in IFN-γ production, and changes in Th2-response, which is manifested by a significant decrease in serum IL-4. Scope of application - the medicine.
