Essay

The features of the dynamics of charged particles in a homogeneous constant external magnetic field and the field of a plane electromagnetic wave of arbitrary polarization and tension are studied. In particular when setting the wave force is greater than one. It is shown that in strong electromagnetic fields cross the main role is played by the longitudinal wave vector to the motion of charged particles, and shows that in this case the resonance conditions lose its exclusivity - effective energy exchange between particles and waves can be observed in the absence of conditions for resonances. It is proved that in the field of laser pulse waves with circular polarization, the longitudinal nature of the change of momentum of a charged particle follows the envelope of the pulse field. Proposed and studied various schemes that allow acceleration accelerate particles in a vacuum and manage their characteristics. In particular, it is proved that the scheme OLVE at high strengths stochastically unstable.
