Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the creation of the physics-technological foundations of the processes of complex ion-plasma hardening of constructional materials (nitriding and deposition of a protective coating) to increase the operating life of working parts of the steam water tract of the turbines of thermal and atomic power plants. The key processes of ion-plasma surface modification, which served as the basis for the development of the technology of complex hardening of working parts of steam distribution turbine mechanism, have been developed. The optimal regimes of ion-plasma nitriding of st. 25CrMoVA were determined. Found a 30 % increase in the hardening depth of nitrided steel due to surface pretreatment of accelerated ions.
