Garvasiuk O. Pathological anatomy of premature maturation of the placenta with iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy

The thesis contains theoretical generalization and solution of a scientific task concerning improvement of morphological diagnostics of preterm maturation of the placental choroid tree with iron deficiency anemia of pregnancy during two terms of gestation – 29-32 and 33-36 weeks. A complex of morphological methods was used in the study: macroscopic, histological, histochemical, immune-histochemical, morphometric, and statistical. Practical value of the study consists in establishment of gestational criteria to diagnose placental pathology with preterm maturation of the choroid tree in pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia during the terms of gestation – 29-32 and 33-36 weeks. The criteria assume substitution of the existing standard parameters for certain types of the villi according to an appropriate term of gestation.
