Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to flora of vascular plants of the territory of NNP “Hutsulshchyna” and the adjacent territories, it’s study, analysis and protection. On the base of herbarium collections and personal research floristic constitution was established and localities of rare species of the natural-territorial complex (NTC) of NNP “Hutsulshchyna” were discovered. The area under research is heterogeneous and clustered. We established 876 species belonging to 423 genera of 112 families. Inside the researched territories 2 species new for the Ukrainian Carpathians were identified – Thalictrum foetidum and Carlina cirsioides both included into Red Book of Ukraine. New rare species for the flora of region were found (RBU): Iris sibirica, Gymnadenia odoratissima, Gentiana acaulis. The systematic, geographical, biomorphological and ecological structure of the flora was studied. The comparative analysis between the floras of nature reserve territories and floristic regions was made. The boundaries of the floristic districts of Gorgany, Pokuttya-Bukovyna Carpathians and Prykarpattia have been specified. Rare component of flora of higher vascular plants of NPP “Hutsulshchyna” and adjacent territories was studied and its geographical analysis was carried out. It is noted that 20 species need to be included to the list of regionally rare species of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The analysis of rare species included to the Red Book of Ukraine was carried out; they were divided into groups according to their distribution. Comprehensive recommendations as for protection of rare species depending on the location and forms of the ownership and use of their habitats have been developed.
