Object of research: humanitarian organizations during the Second World War in Europe. The purpose of the study is to reconstruction of models (variants) of humanitarian institutions during the Holocaust in different states because of their political and administrative status – Poland, France, Romania, Hungary. The methods used are the following: historical-comparative, historical-typological, historical-systemic, concrete-historical, diachronic, retrospective, problem-chronological. The scientific novelty of the research: firstly the activity of humanitarian organizations for the rescue of Jews in Poland, France, Romania and Hungary in the conditions of the Second World War and the Holocaust was comprehensively studied and the peculiarities of the models of their activity were clarified; it was identified humanitarian organizations that operated in Europe and directly in the specified countries; mechanisms of interaction of organizations with power structures of the states are revealed; common and distinctive features in the activities of humanitarian organizations in different countries and administrative units were clarified; the conditions of activity of organizations in different states in the dynamics of the war and the Holocaust are determined; statistical information on the activities of humanitarian organizations was updated. The practical value of the study: the materials of the research will be useful in writing scientific papers, preparing courses on the history of Europe, France, Poland, Romania, Hungary, world history, the history of the Jewish community in Europe and the world. Field of using: educational process.
