The work is devoted to increasing the productivity of jet mills and the quality of the grinding product on the basis of automatic control of the degree of loading of the mill and the size of the product according to the parameters of the acoustic signals of the working zones of grinding. The study of the closed cycle of jet grinding revealed the technological characteristics that affect the productivity of the process. The developed nonlinear regression model showed the predominant influence of the level of grinding chamber loading on the performance of the mill as a whole. The developed simulation model of the grinding process showed that the control of the process of loading the mill allows to increase the productivity of the mill. The use of acoustic signals of the working zones of the shredding jet installation for control of process modes is substantiated. A method for determining the deviation of the grinding mode from the optimal by analyzing the parameters of the acoustic signals of the working area of the process. A new method of automatic control of the jet mill performance based on the acoustic signals of the grinding zone has been developed, which consists in controlling the loading of the mill and the quality of the grinding products. Algorithms for the operation of the automatic control system for loading the mill, software and hardware for its implementation, a simulation model of the control system. The proposed method of controlling the productivity of the jet mill was tested in the conditions of the Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant, which allowed increasing the productivity of the mill by 10 - 30% depending on the size of the product.
