Kalat Y. Euroregional cooperation in securing the socio-economic development of border regions of Ukraine

Object of research: processes of formation and development of Euroregional cooperation in the context of ensuring socio-economic development of border regions. Purpose: substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles and development of practical recommendations for the development of Euroregional cooperation and intensification of its impact on ensuring the socio-economic development of the border regions of Ukraine. Methods: system, abstract-logical, generalization, cartographic, statistical-economic and comparative analysis, index, systematization, system analysis and synthesis, graphic visualization. Novelty: improved conceptual approach to the formation of the system of socio-economic development of border regions (its coordination and information, institutional and legal, organizational and financial, infrastructural and security components) by intensifying Euroregional cooperation; methodical approach to assessing the impact of Euroregional cooperation on the socio-economic development of border regions; conceptual and terminological apparatus, in particular, it is proposed to expand the concept of "Euroregional cooperation" taking into account the processes of its diversification and the emergence of new forms of cross-border cooperation. Scope: in the work of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on European Integration; in the legislative work of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government; The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine in the development of regulations, preparation of information materials and reports on cross-border cooperation; Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the development and improvement of the regulatory framework for border issues; Lviv Regional Council in developing proposals for the development of the Ukrainian-Polish cross-border region with the participation of Lviv region; Volyn Regional State Administration in the development of proposals and recommendations for the development of the Ukrainian-Polish border with the participation of Volyn region; Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of the Odesa Regional State Administration in the development of program and strategic documents of socio-economic development of the Odesa region; in the work of the Transcarpathian customs of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
