Pysanko S. Regulation of investment and innovation processes of the electric power industry of the south-eastern region of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the study and substantiation of the theoretical and methodological foundations and the development of practical recommendations for the regulation of investment and innovation processes in the electric power industry in the face of modern challenges. The scientific and theoretical foundations for determining the essence of investment and innovation processes for the development of the electric power industry have been investigated. The main problems of the functioning of the electric power industry are summarized. The expected effect of reforming the electric power industry is characterized. The factors that determine the progress in the development of innovative and investment support of the electric power industry are highlighted. The most widespread models of the energy market organization in the world are determined and characterized. The necessity of changing the investment and innovation policy in the studied area has been substantiated. The essence of the concepts "state innovation policy" and "state investment policy" is investigated. The main directions of the implementation of the innovation and investment policy in the electric power industry have been determined. Analyzed the regulatory framework for the regulation of the industry. Conceptual foundations for the formation of a monitoring system for innovation and investment processes in the electric power complex of the region have been developed, which is based on an algorithm with certain stages: a comparative analysis of general trends in the functioning of the electric power complex in the context of traditional and renewable energy sources, assessment of the dynamics of development of investment and innovation processes, diagnostics of the impact efficiency investment and innovation processes for the functioning of the electric power complex and building prospects for the development of the electric power industry complex in the context of the activation of innovation and investment processes in the region.
