Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of schoolchildren economical socialization from low-income families. The structural-functional model of economic socialization of schoolchildren from low-income families have been theoretically grounded and developed. It is focused on the micro level system of factors of this process and on the determination of economic culture structural content of the schoolchildren by the peculiarities and directions of economic culture development of their family members. An empirical study reveals the peculiarities of economic socialization of older adolescents and high school students from low-income families; which manifests itself in the economic culture of the poverty person. The main factors of its formation have been established. The significant role of the subjective-economic status of the family have been shown. It mediates the influence of the style of parent-child relations, models of social adaptability and corresponding personal qualities of family members. In the course of a formative experiment, the training program "Formation of the culture of economic subjectivity of schoolchildren" was developed and successfully tested. It has been based on the basic principles of social-psychological influence on the economic culture development of schoolchildren from low-income families: the principle of interagent interactions as a source of new personality identities development, the principle of dialogism and the principle of focus on individual characteristics and economic needs of the schoolchildren personality. The effectiveness of the training program among senior adolescents and high school students have been confirmed by the development of a rational and positive attitudes to money, a motive of savings, a decreasing of monetary anxiety and tension in monetary relations, an increasing in indicators of a general tendency to entrepreneurship, a reduction of tendency to poverty.
