Kozin O. Economic security of the region's motor transport complex in the context of deepening integration processes.

In the dissertation work, the results of solving an important scientific problem were obtained for assessing the state and ensuring the economic safety of motor transport complexes in the regions of Ukraine. The content of the concept of "economic security of the road transport complex" is determined, it is proved that economic security should be understood as the capabilities and readiness of the road transport complex to function effectively in the context of European integration, to provide high-quality road transport services in the region and beyond in an amount sufficient to ensure regional and interregional ties, promote the development of road transport infrastructure and create conditions for the formation of a socially responsible road carrier. The levels of economic security of the region's motor transport complex have been determined. The toolkit of the approach assumes the delineation of the levels of economic security based on the period of countering threats. Thus, the basic level has been determined, which includes the production and infrastructure components and characterizes the existing basic conditions for meeting the needs of the region in this type of transportation. The strategic level includes managerial, organizational, informational and psychological components and characterizes the degree of readiness and the presence of long-term conditions for the operation of the motor transport complex. The essence of a sufficient level of economic security of the region's motor transport complex has been determined. A sufficient level of economic security characterizes the ability to provide all the necessary road transport services in full and of proper quality, its feature is not only a reaction to threats that have already arisen, but also the creation of an insignificant margin, which allows a set of measures to prevent the emergence of threats in the current activities of suppliers trucking services. The functional components of the region's motor transport complex in the context of the formation of the economic security system have been determined. The proposed toolkit provides for the allocation of functional components, namely: production and infrastructure. This approach makes it possible to form a set of measures to ensure the safety of the functioning of the region's motor transport complex.
