Essay

To reduce power dissipation in the output stages of amplifiers and wireless transceivers, which are the most energy consuming, the use of high-efficiency classes of active devices operating is widespread. The use of active devices in class E, class F, can significantly increase the energy efficiency of the communication system, while having a large number of circuit options and developed simple calculation and analysis procedures. However, there are many options for upgrading the construction of these devices, which can take into account the conditions that constantly arise on the way of development. Reducing peak voltage on the active device, using mixed classes of active devices operating which combine the advantages of each class, improving the output signal of amplifiers and oscillators, studying the features of amplifier circuits in integrated design will increase the reliability of transmitter units, get new circuit solutions with properties. that will meet the specific conditions and limitations in the design, clarify the behavior of the active device in high-efficiency modes of operation. Therefore, the development of methods for calculating high-efficiency class E amplifiers and oscillators is an actual task.
