Borysova V. Health condition of common ash in the Left-bank Forest Steppe of Ukraine

Object – indicators and factors of health condition of ash stands; methods: forestry – during the stand survey, laying of sample plots, assessment of the health condition of stands; dendrochronological - to assess radial growth of birch; statistical – for data analysis. Novelty – determination of features of deterioration of ash stands with age, the main biotic factors of weakening of ash stands, symptoms and signs of manifestation, the dependence of distribution on type of forest site conditions, age, and structure of stands. Results: the method of assessment of the health condition of ash stands, diagnostics of factors of damage and defeat, estimation of their distribution is improved. Features of the reaction of radial increment of ash trees to weather stresses are revealed; scope of use – forestry.
