Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the actual psychological and pedagogical problem of correction of autism spectrum disorders among children. The study includes theoretical analysis and empirical study of the impact of music therapy as a means of influence aimed at preventing and overcoming autistic disorders among preschool children. The dissertation highlights theoretical and methodological approaches to music therapy – as a paradigm of creating a programme of psychological correction of autistic disorders among children. There has been presented an analysis of the results of psyche characteristics study among preschool children with autistic spectrum disorders and peculiarities of music therapy impact on autistic indices among children. On the basis of detected correlation characteristics and impact of music and musical activities on preschool children with autistic spectrum disorders there has been developed and approved a comprehensive programme of psychocorrection of autistic disorders by means of music therapy. Statistical data of comparative and multivariative analysis have been presented in consideration of the positive dynamics of psychological and therapeutic impact of music therapy on overcoming anxiety, nervousness, suffering, self-aggression among children with autistic disorders. The obtained results statistically confirm the effectiveness of the psychocorrectional work.
