Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the establishment of electrochemical features and laws of operational degradation of steels of ferrite-perlite and austenitic classes for cathode protection, its influence on the state of anode earthing switches, as well as the development of methods for improving the efficiency of their work and extension of the resource. The operating decomposition of perlite in steel 20 for the cathode protection of the pipeline was revealed, which was accompanied by a decrease in corrosion modification and an increase in hydrogen concentration. It is established in use for earthing grounds for degraded pipes. The operational decrease in the propensity to pitting and increase the corrosive definition of steel 12Х18Н10Т is recorded, which requires an additional number of anodes, but their resource increases. The method of increasing the efficiency of anode earthing activators is proposed. The design of an anode earthing can be developed, which makes it possible to control the resistance in the anode-soil system using technical solutions.
