Essay

Investigated here is Ukrainian folklore of resistance of the XXI century. It is shown that such folklore develops in line with the traditions of folklore of the past centuries (сossack, haydamak, оpryshky, recruit etc.). Because of its national-state and socio-political character it is genetically connected with folklore of Ukrainian Sich Riflemen and Ukrainian Insurgent Army. It is offered own author`s interpretation of the concept of «tradition» in folklore studies. The doctrine of transmission in folklore and its mechanisms are expanded. The folklore text is viewed as the unity of verbal, nonverbal and context components. A comprehensive analysis of the syncretic folklore text of the Revolution of Dignity is carried out. The genre paradigm of folklore of the Revolution of Dignity is analyzed. Such folk genres as psalms, Christmas carols, Cossack, shooting and insurgent songs received "new life". They were primarily transmitted through the mechanisms of performativity. It is shown that the role of the older generation in transmission of the folklore texts has changed: the direction of transmission can change: not only ascending, but also reverse. The role of the folk dances that existed during the Euromaidan period as an element of the folklore product of the Revolution of Dignity, which materializes through the reflective mechanisms of folklore transmission, is revealed. The texts of the nativity drama of the period of the Revolution of Dignity are analyzed, the longevity of tradition in them is traced. Kolomyyky are characterized, the functional purpose of which is songs. Anecdotes of the Revolution of Dignity are classified according to the thematic principle. The oral slogans of the Revolution of Dignity are treated as paremic genres. The forms of expression of the folklore text of the Revolution of Dignity are analyzed. For the first time the object of research attention was folklore, which appears as a result of the modern Russian-Ukrainian war and is created in both military and non-military environments. The expediency of introducing the term "front nativity scene" into the scientific folklore circulation is substantiated. It is proposed to nominate anecdotes of the war period with the term "military anecdote". The study of folklore texts of the mentioned period is possible mainly due to the mechanisms of indirect transmission, in particular social networks, Internet sources and SMScorrespondence. A group of songs that change their functions according to the context is nominated as «songs of resistance». Research attention is also paid to the phenomenon of inclusion of individual creativity in the folklore environment of "borderline" situations.
