Essay

The dissertation provides theoretical generalization and practical solution of scientific problem on establishing ecological patterns of formation of productivity characters of spring bread wheat in the Forest-Steppe and Polissia of Ukraine. As a result of the researches the influence of the ecological factors both on the productivity level and on the expression of simple yield components in varieties depending on agroecological growing season conditions was established; the parts of sum square of the factors under study on the variation of valuable economic characteristics of spring bread wheat in different agroecological zones were determined; that varieties of different ecological and geographical origin varied in terms of yield in different agro-ecological growing zones; there were revealed the peculiarities of resistance expression for the varieties against the pathogens of leaf fungal diseases Erysiphe graminis DС. f. sp. tritici Em. Marchal, Puccinia recondita Rob. ex Desm. f. sp. tritici, Septoria tritici Rob. et Desm; indicators of stability and plasticity for the genotypes of spring bread wheat depending on agroecological environment were determined; a new source material was created, the peculiarities of formation in hybrid populations of soft spring wheat in the conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissya were determined and the parental components were identified, which is of economic value for different agroecological growing zones. The varieties of spring bread wheat Struna myronivska, MIP Zlata, Panianka, Simkoda myronivska, Siuita (UKR), Koksa (POL), and Leguan (CZE) were identified as high-yielding, valuable in terms of grain quality, adapted to the conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissia and were recommended for implementation in grain production.
