Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the research of macro - and microelement status of the organism of experimental animals, its influence on biochemical mechanisms of adaptation under adrenaline stress and to the investigation of efficiency of pharmacological preparation «Scutellaria baicalensis extract» for prevention and correction of revealed disturbances. The obtained data give grounds to believe that under the studied stress situation in the body of experimental animals there is an adaptation of the modulation type, which is characterized by changes in the level of macro- and microelements (Ca, Mg, Zn and Cu) in blood and liver, and metabolites of energy metabolism (glucose, pyruvate, lactate, TAG) and LDH activity in the blood, muscles and liver. The obtained experimental results indicate that the medication «Scutellaria baicalensis extract» helps to restore the homeostasis of the studied elements, which play a key role in the body's response to the stress.
