Romanyuk R. Organizational and economic mechanism of reforming the electricity market of the western region of Ukraine

The evolution of the views of researchers and practitioners on the formation of the electricity market is studied; the content characteristics are conceptualized and the tendencies of development of the electric power market are outlined, the structure and interaction between subjects in the studied market of the region are specified. The review of the evolution of views on the formation of the electricity market from the beginning of civilization to the present is synchronized. The need for energy resources for the uninterrupted life cycle of mankind has been clarified. The need to strengthen the energy-saving model, which is reflected in the energy strategy, which in turn covers three stages and is unified in terms of objectives, mechanisms, and periods of reforming the electricity market, is proved.
