Essay

The object of research is the processes of design, manufacture and operation of diamond-abrasive tools on ceramic joints. The purpose of the study is to increase the efficiency of diamond grinding through the implementation of rational self-sharpening of wheels on ceramic joints by scientifically sound determination of their characteristics at the stage of design, manufacture and operation of the tool. Research methods: numerical methods of modeling and solving problems of destruction, methods of mathematical analysis, X-ray phase, differential thermal, electron microscopic, 3D topographic methods of analysis. Theoretical and practical results: developed methodology and recommendations for the choice of rational structure and characteristics of the diamond-bearing layer of circles on ceramic bonds. Scientific novelty: a method of making diamond wheels on ceramic bonds is proposed, which provides constant updating of cutting surfaces of grains during grinding of different types of difficult-to-machine materials by controlling the self-sharpening process by varying bond properties and porosity of the diamond layer. Degree of implementation: the designed tools are tested and implemented at the profile enterprises (LLC "Instyle", LLC "Company ZBROYA") and in the educational process of the integrated mechanical engineering technologies department named after M.F.Semko at NTU "KhPI". Scope of use are the design organizations and enterprises of the machine-building industry.
