The object of the study – amputation stumps of the lower extremities, obtained as a result of gunshot and mine injuries in servicemen; goal – to improve the results of treatment of patients with stumps of the lower extremities after gunshot and mine injuries by optimizing surgical tactics using modern technologies of wound healing and the use of developed algorithms for treatment and medical rehabilitation with a multidisciplinary team; methods – bibliosemantic, clinical, laboratory, radiological methods (radiography, computed tomography), ultrasound (Doppler), medical and statistical; novelty and results – for the first time the proportion of amputations and reconstructive operations on the stumps of the lower extremities was determined; the features of trauma and surgical care provided to servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with stumps of the lower extremities were determined. For the first time, the factors that led to amputations and reconstructive operations on the stumps of the lower extremities were identified and the features of these factors in the servicemen of the Armed Forces - participants in hostilities in the ATO / OOS were assessed. For the first time, the clinical features of amputations, reconstructive operations on amputation stumps and clinical features of stumps of the lower extremities in servicemen of the Armed Forces - participants in hostilities in the ATO / OOS were determined. Based on the clinical analysis, for the first time a medical-diagnostic algorithm for the treatment of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with injuries that caused amputation of the lower limb in combination with fractures of long bones was developed. For the first time a scheme of complex treatment of complications in the wounded - servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with stumps of the lower extremities was developed; implemented – the results of the dissertation are implemented in practice in the following medical institutions: NMMCC "MMCH", Kyiv; MMCC of the Southern region, Odessa; MMCC of the Northern region, Kharkiv; MMCC of the Central region, Vinnytsia; A2923, Irpin; A0233, Pokrovsk; A1065, Zhytomyr; Clinical City Hospital №1, Mariupol; Clinical City Hospital №10, Kryvyi Rih, certifying the relevant acts of implementation; field of use – medical and diagnostic process of specialized trauma departments, centers of emergency medical care and disaster medicine, scientific and pedagogical processes of the departments of traumatology and orthopedics, military field surgery, emergency medical care of medical schools.
