Telychko L. Agroecological substantiation of sugar corn cultivation with the use of biological products

The thesis presents the results of three –year multifactorial experiments to study the influence of traditional and biological plant protection systems against pests and pathogenic microorganisms. The agroecological efficiency of complex influence of biological preparations and chemical means of plant protection on sugar corn is considered in the work. The results of the experiments confirmed that the use of biological agents for seed treatment significantly inhibited the development of diseases and pests in sugar corn. Unlike chemicals, the action of biological drugs is selectively aimed, mostly at reducing the number of harmful species and maintaining them at a safe level. Biological drugs have a positive effect on plant quality, accelerating their initial growth and development. In addition to the protective effect, biological protection products increase the energy of seed germination, stimulate the immune function of plants, which increases yields and product quality
