Essay

The dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of the candidate of technical sciences on a specialty 05.15.09 – "Geotechnical and mining mechanics". State Higher Educational Institution National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic", Dnipro, 2021. In the dissertation the actual scientific and technical problem of definition of parameters of discrete retaining designs is solved. Methods for calculating the stability and strength of the soil in the area of influence of discrete retaining structures have been developed. The following scientific and practical problems have been solved: a combined discrete - continuous construction has been invented, some elements of which work on bending, and others - on tension; the known theory of arch effect in case of interaction of sliding soil mass with discrete retaining structures is modified and the conditions of soil interaction with discrete retaining structures at their contact are investigated. Scope of the results received in the dissertation: fixing and stabilization of landslide slopes and slopes; boards of vertical workings.
