Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and experimental study of the process of assembling and disassembling of rolling bearings and bearing pullers. In work the bearing pullers are improved with the aim to reduce the metal capacity and ensure the condition of the paws or arms not sliding off the bearing ring. The mathematical model of the process of mounting a bearing on a shaft was developed taking into account the tension and radial clearance in the bearing, and also the mathematical model of the bearing puller was developed, taking into account the physical and mechanical properties and geometric characteristics of the contacting bodies. The process of mounting of bearings on a shaft, in particular, pressing forces, critical tension and removal time of the bearing from the shaft, has been experimentally investigated. The optimal parameters of the bearing puller were substantiated, which will ensure the conditions for not slipping of the arm from the bearing ring, reduce the time for dismantling the bearing and its steel intensity. The expected economic effect from the introduction of research results into production has been determined.
