Essay

As a result of research conducted during 2014-2020 on the basis of the "Collection of Energy Crops" Poltava State Agrarian Academy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, it was established Miscanthus (Miscanthus × giganteus) and Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) as factors of carbon deposition in the soil. Ecological and climatic features under which long-term systems of bioenergy cultures function are established. The role of culture, soil layer depth, year and age of vegetation in variation of carbon monoxide emission by soil and carbon deposition in soil are evaluated. The regularities of variation of carbon monoxide emission and carbon deposition in energy crops are determined. An assessment of the role of climatic factors in the variation of carbon monoxide emissions and in the deposition of carbon in the soil is given; established patterns of formation of productivity of plantations of energy crops; the stability of the dynamics of bioenergy crop systems is estimated.
