Lapshova N. Socio-psychological correlates of sociometric status in a students’ group.

The Ph. D. thesis is devoted to the research of psychological correlates of individuals acquisition of sociometric status in a small group. The theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to the interpretation of social and sociometric status is carried out, the components, features of dynamics and interrelations of sociometric status are considered. Sociometric status is basic, which precedes other status manifestations in the group; it is a direct reflection of the social status of the individual in a small group; reflects the position of the individual in the system of interpersonal relations of the group and demonstrates the psychological attitude of group members to each other.
