Duda R. Legal awareness and legal literacy in the youth environment.

The research substantiates a number of features of the formation of legal awareness and legal literacy in the youth environment. In the context of rapid changes in the world, where society faces new challenges and problems, legal awareness and legal literacy become key factors that determine the ability of young people to function effectively in society and influence its further development. Despite the importance and expediency of this issue in terms of the formation of the young generation, as conscious and knowledgeable in the field of law, scientists have not carried out a comprehensive study of this issue taking into account modern challenges. The influence of mass media and the Internet on the development of legal awareness of young people was considered somewhat superficially, not taking into account its rapid development. Also, a thorough analysis of the gender aspect of legal awareness of young people was not carried out, which in turn confirms the relevance of the selected research. A thorough analysis of the modern young generation's understanding of gender roles and sexual identity was conducted. It is proven that the emergence of new gender models and forms of interaction requires revision and adaptation of legal norms and standards. The category of gender legal literacy, which includes legal information and access to it from a gender perspective, has been studied. In the work, for the first time, step-by-step ways of introducing these ideas into educational programs and institutions were developed for further study in the youth environment. Within the framework of the study, the historical periodization of the formation and influence of cultural factors on the attitude of young people to the law has been improved, so it is proposed to consider the cultural traditions, beliefs and customs of Ukrainians as a key element that permeates the cultural legal heritage, and as a result, the formation of the legal identity of young people today. The definition of legal culture identity has been improved.
