Essay

Theoretical models of induced helix creation in nematic-cholesteric mixtures, texture and phase transitions in induced cholesterics upon the action of electric field and temperature, light scattering in induced cholesterics prosesses are considered. The electrooptical, time and modulation characteristics of nematic-cholesteric mixtures are studied, and the correlation with the nematic-cholesteric mixtures physical parameters are fixed. The recommendations for effective low-frequency laser radiation of visible range of spectrum are claborated.
