Kamenshchyk A. Clinical and immunological features and diagnostic criteria of the congenial toxoplasmosis in first year children

The variants of clinical course of acute dessiminant form of congenital toxoplasma infection and criterias of diagnosis for subacute form of the disease are established. The significance of neurosonography in the diagnosis of different forms of disease is shown.Certain neurosonography criterias, that along with the specific serologic diagnosis allows to establish a phase of current inflammatory process into CNS and also manage it with the help of the specific therapy are determined. The diagnostic value of specific phagocytic reactions to children's blood neutrophiles incubation with the causal antigene (toxoplasma) is shown, that is the one of an additional laboratory diagnostic criterion. The established criterions allow to select the risk group of first year children suspected for congenital toxoplasma infection for the purpose of futher serologic examination and specific therapy.
