Tereshchenkova I. Aromatherapy in frequently suffering from acute respiratory diseases preschool age children rehabilitation.

124 frequently suffering from acute respiratory diseases (ARD) children from 3 to 6 years old were observed. The aim is to improve rehabilitation of frequently suffering from ARD children and define the influence of the essential oils (EO) of anise, sage, peppermint on the condition of immunity and lipid free-radical oxidation (FRO). The content of Ig A, M, G in blood serum and SIgA in saliva was studied in accordance with Manchini method; blood and saliva lisocsim activity was analyzed by G.Dorofeichuk nephelometric method (spectrum photometer СФ-46); lipid FRO of 24 hour urine was investigated with the help of biochemiluminescence (hemiluminometer ФЕМ-130). The research proved that the EO of anise, sage, peppermint composition has immunity corrective and antioxidative action and leads to the 1,5 times decrease of frequency of ARD. The results of the research were introduced at the level of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. The sphere of usage is pediatrics.
