In candidate thesis the data about influence of parenteral infusion of vitamin E water-soluble form and sodium selenite to sucklet piglet and sows during pregnansy and lactation on lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system status in piglet organism are presented. It has been established that parenteral influsion of vitamin E and sodium selenite to suckling piglet or sows during pregnansy and lactation leads to decrease of lipid peroxidation intensity in piglet organism owing to increase of fermentative and nonfermentative systems of antioxidand system activities and to oncrease of piglet growth intensity
