Essay

The crystals with the plane defects are investigated. The calculation of the spectra of the surface and quasisurface phonons, transformation waves and resonance vibrations of crystals was the goal of the work. The analyses of the spectra was made at the framework of lattice dynamics. This work is the first to investigate the transformation waves and quasisurface phonons in the framework of discrete vector models of crystals with the plane defects.
