Liquid alloys of rare earth metals with copper and cobalt, gadolinium silicides and germanides. To determine mixing enthalpies of liquid alloys of rare earth metals with copper and cobalt, to determine standard formation enthalpies of gadolinium silicides and germanides. Method of investigation is high temperature calorimetry. The regularities in mixing enthalpies changes through the lanthanides row and 3d-transition metal row have been found. They are explained by distinctions of electron structure of alloy components. Model calculations of thermodynamic properties of Cu-Ba system have been performed.New experimental results obtained in this work may be used as reference data and may be included in thermodynamical data bases for the solving of practical problems of alloys production. Field of application - metallurgy, production of special alloys.
