Marushko S. Synthesis and Properties of the Composite Sorbic Materials "Active Carbon - Polymer"

The dissertation is devoted to synthesis and investigation of the composite sorbic materials (CSM) based on an active carbon and polymers of different structure which were used for the matrix. The changes of sorption-related structural parameters and kinetics characteristics of the initial active carbon as well as composites by the effect of the synthetic parameters, polymer content and poltmer types were investigated as well as their effect of practical performance were also studied. Attention was paid to interface chemistry and to influence of active carbon surface on the polyurethane structure, which are were determined by the methods of DSC, TMA, IR-spectroscopy. The technologies for manufacturing a new sorbic-filter respirators were proposed and the practical performance was investigated.
