Cutting tools, produced from agglomerated hard alloy. Increasing durability of hard-alloy cutting tools, working in hard exploring conditions. Physical-mechanical characteristics and wear-resistance of surface layer of nitriding alloy. Durability increasing of nitriding tools for 2,2...3,6 times. The increasing mechanism of hard alloy wear-resistance after hardening by the ion nitriding method in hydrogen-free environment is determined. Industrial verification and implementation in Common Laboratory of Progressive Hardening Methods of Technological University of Podillia is conducted.
