Essay

Investigation of clinical observations of 1900 patients with traumatic lesions of peripheral nerves established that iatrogenic lesions occurred in 5,9% patients. Our data on causes and mechanisms of their development are generalized based on complex purposive investigation of 113 patients with iatrogenic lesions. Correlation of morphologic and physiologic changes which occur in nerve dynamics during injection traumas in the course of experiment for the first time was revealed. Means of differential surgical management of iatrogenic lesions of peripheral nerves, volume and sequence of their realization were elaborated for the first time concerning mechanisms.
