Essay

Ni-Mn-Ga alloys. Investigate premartensitic & martensitic structural transformations. Methods of investigations are experimental and theoretical ones of solid state physics. It has been shown, that the premartensitic structure has been formed due to the acoustic phonone mode condensation. The conformity between the alloy structure peculiarities and its magnetic properties was established. It has been found, that intermartensitic transformations of Ni-Mn-Ga alloys can be initiated by temperature change. Fields of use are all ones of technic where magnetic actuators can be used.
