Essay

Thesis is devoted to investigation of the voltammetric characteristic of various chemical forms of the Ru(IV) in noncoplexing solution and in the presence of oxiacids (citric, tartratic) and oxalic acids, and elaborating method for voltammetric determination of ruthenium. The schemes of complexation processes of the Ru(IV) with citric, tartratic and oxalic acids have been proposed. Polarographic catalytic effects in solutions with low ruthenium content in the presence of oxyacids have been studied for the first time. The sheme of catalytic electrode process has been proposed.Sensitive, selective and express method of voltammetric determination of ruthenium in semiconductive pastes and alloys has been elaborated.
