The structure and properies of cobalt films obtained by pulsed unipolar and bipolar current have been studied. The magnitude of cathode supersaturation parallel with the rate of its changing is found to have an essential influence on forming the structure. The use of inverse current pulses allows to regulate the rate of the cathode supersaturation decrease and to control the forming structure. The study of magnetic properties of cobalt films has reveald that beta-Co was more magnetorigid material than alfa-Co. In the framework of classical nucleus formation theory the expression for the nucleus formation rate under time-dependent supersaturation has been obtained. Analysis of that has showed that maximum of the rate is correspond to the beginning of pause between current pulses. Technology of obtaining microlayer structutes is proposed.
