Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of evolution in clinical manifestation of systemic lupus erithematosus in patients (307), citizens of Kyiv, from 1966 to 1995 , including those who suffered from Chernobyl disaster; specific features of its course in different age groups and among males. Revealed were changes in the clinical course of the above disease over the latest 30 years. The findings show that the above disease manifests itself in a more complex form among those aged over 44; a more simple form is revealed among males than among females. The finding show that among those who fell ill after Chernobyl disaster an acute initial stage of the above disease ,as well as blood, liver and vascular diseases has become more frequent. The dissertation has further elaborated method of multi - year treatment of systemic lupus erythematosys thus contributing to lower activity of the pathologic process and to reduction in diseases of individual organs and systems.
