The dissertation deals with the problem of developing economically-alloyed electrode material and process design for mechanized surfacing of electroerosian-resistant alloy. In the course of this work the facility and the methodology for electroerosian-resistant tests have been elaborated and are proposed. The effect of the composition and the structure of copper alloy on electroerosian resistance, electroconductivity and mechanical properties have been investigated. The composition of powder electrode providing for surfacing the chrome-iron bronze reinforced by sigma phase was developed. Parallel testing of surfacing material and composite materials containing to 15 % (in volume) of carbide phase of the following systems: copper-carbide of chrome, copper-carbide of molybdenum, copper-carbide of tungsten were conducted. Investigation into the effect of the surfacing mode on productivity and hygiene condition allowed to optimize them. The developed electrode material and the process design for mechanize d surfacing found an application in metallurgical and machine-engineering factories in Ukraine.
