The object of study: rat liver, kidney, lungs. The aim of study: to make comparative analysis of the lipid peroxidation parameters and antyoxidant defense condition alterations in the rat liver, kidney and lungs after mercury chloride and cobalt chloride injection. Methods and equipment: biochemical (determination of the activities of number of enzymes, reduced glutathione and TBA-reactive products content in rat liver, kidney and lungs); spectrophotometer, photo-colorimeter, centrifuge with refrigerator. Theoretical and practical results, newness: The dynamics of lipid peroxidation indexes, glutatione content and catalase and superoxide dismutase activities in rat liver, kidney and lung after mercury and cobalt chlorides injection were investigated.Gender and tissue-linked features of ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation in mentioned conditions were established. The correlation of ascorbate-induced lipid peroxidation intensity increase and reduced glutatione content decrease was revealed in the earl y stage after mercury chloride injection. The dependence of lipid peroxidation velocity in rat liver, kidney and lung after heavy salts administration on the reduced glutathione content and antyoxidant enzymes activity was revealed. The sphere of application: ecologycal and toxicological biochemistry.
