Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to creation of technology of effective combustion of low-calorie methane containing gases (mining methane,biogas). These gases may be considered as alternative to expensive import of the natural gas necessary for GTP. Decision of this problem by means of application of self-regulating jet-stabilizing burning devices was proposed. It was established that mechanism of their self-regulation is based on combustion featured behind the stabilizer of laminar diffusive flame. The conditions necessary for keeping of such combustion regime at presence of the ballast admixtures in the combustible gas were found out. The operatind characteristics (air and CO2)of the jet- stabilizing module at different ("floating") concentrations of the ballast admixtures in methane were experimentally investigated.
