Research subjects: the flora of the vascular plants of Kherson city. Research objectives: the critical investigation and analysis of the vascular plants flora of Kherson. Methods: morphological, ecological, geographical, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: The urban flora of Kherson is represented by 964 species, 442 genera and 105 family. Among them, 267 species are new for the study area. The floristical analysis of the urban flora were carry out. Two new for Kherson region and new localities 5 of the quarantine species were found. The population of the rare species were studied. Two new reserves were proposed for conservation of the rare species. Novelty of introduced: The taxonomic list of the vascular plants with 264 new species for the Kherson. The special analysis of the urban are new for Ukraine. Two new quarantine species for Kherson region and four new rare species for the Kherson were found at first time. Two new reserves were proposed for conservation of the rare species. The n ew life form was proposed. The corrective to geographical, ecological etc. analysis were carry out. Implementation degree: The results of investigation were included in the practical and lecture course of the "Ecology" and "Botany" and used in the work of the quarantine department. The reservation territory was created after results of the dissertation work. The results of the work used for composition of the region program "Ecology 2005". Effectiveness: The education level of the students will higher. The ecological situation in Kherson city will be improve. The rare species of the plants will be conserve.
