The dissertation contains theoretical and experimental researches of the high-speed systems with the disk-shaped rotor in a gas-magnetic suspension. On the basis of development of dynamic and mathematical models there has been researched dynamic characteristics of the gas-magnetic suspension. Equations of the forces in the gas-magnetic suspension have been found, and their interaction has been researched. The gas-magnetic suspension as an automatic control system has been researched, and its negative feed-backs have been revealed. Dynamic and mathematical models of a high-speed disk-shaped rotor system in the gas-magnetic suspension have been elaborated and researched. Differential equations of motion of high-speed disk-shaped rotor in the gas-magnetic suspension have been elaborated, cinematic and dynamic characteristics of the system have been researched. Adequacy of mathematical models and cinematic and dynamic characteristics is confirmed by experimental researches. The method of design of high-sp eed machinery with the disk-shaped rotor in a gas-magnetic suspension has also been developed.
